Those who are predicting End of the World,
Doomsday, or Day of Judgment will be in 2014, 2015 or even 2022 are mostly
atheists, not religious, or following the wrong religious beliefs.
In Islam, based on prophecies of Prophet
Mohammad (p) in Hadith, we know that Imam Mahdi will appear in the End Times and
there will be attacks against Muslims and Muslims will eventually be victorious.
Some Hadiths indicate that the sign of the coming-out of the Mahdi is an evil
person described as an Araj arriving from the Maghreb. This means the Araj will
come before the Mahdi and will trigger the emergence of the Mahdi.
A final Dajjal will emerge shortly before Jesus
Christ (p). Then, Jesus Christ will descend from Heaven. Jesus will stay on
Earth few years, during which he will perform Hajj (pilgrimage), get married,
and finally, he will die. Some Hadiths indicate Jesus will remain on Earth for
seven (7) years, others nineteen (19) years, while
others forty (40) years. If Jesus Christ returns (comes back) in 2022 as we are
predicting, that means the World is not likely to end in 2022.

TheEnd Times is likely to start either in 2014,
2015 or 2016, in-sha-Allah (if Allah is willing).
Currently, the probabilities seem to be as follows:
Year 2014 :
- Year 2015 : 55 %
- After Year 2016 : 1 %
One of the dates we are currently examining as a possible date for the
beginning of the End Times,
whichis Zu Al-Hijja 9, 1436 Hijri, known as Day of Arafa (or Arafat),
the day on which Muslim pilgrims stand on Mount of Arafat, near Mecca. The
next day, September 23, 2015 is Zu
Al-Hijja 10, 1436 Hijri, the
first day of Eid (Feast) of the Adha
(Sacrifice), known as Day of the Nahr (Slaughter), which
commemorates Prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his only son at
that time, Ishmael.
In 2015, Muslims' firstday of Eid of the
Adha coincides with the most important Jewish holiday, Yom Kippur
(Day of Atonement)which is the end of
the Ten Days of Repentance that start with the Jewish New Year. The
Jews believe that the fate of every human being for the upcoming
year is finally decided on Yom Kippur and that God passes judgment
over every individual during the ten days of repentance, but reserves
final judgment till Yom Kippur. That is why it is perceived as
a Day of Judgment. On this day, the Jews fast andrecite
prayers begging God for forgiveness of their sins.
